We are excited to announce that Patrick Flood has rejoined Knudson Mfg., Inc. as our new Executive Vice President. He brings over 24 years of industry experience to the Knudson team – to include extensive depth in roll forming machinery design, CAD system integration, manufacturing management, and executive leadership.
Patrick graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1990, beginning his professional endeavors as a Naval Officer serving in USS Lake Champlain (CG-57) as the Assistant Combat Information Center Officer and the Main Propulsion Assistant. He resigned his military commission in 1994 and joined the research and development team at Knudson. He worked in roll forming machinery design and development for ten years, graduating to the General Manager’s post in 2004. Patrick joined Jobsite Steel Manufacturing as the Director of Research and Development in 2011 where he cultivated the roll forming fabrication systems, CAD software integration, and mechanical assembly systems used in their manufacturing efforts today. He took the reigns as CEO at Jobsite Steel in 2015 and helped grow the organization from a regional manufacturing entity to a national concern.
Patrick rejoined the Knudson team in May 2018, and now champions Knudson’s strategic vision – the deployment of world-class roll forming machinery systems and unrivaled steel framing solutions. “It’s great to be back in the machinery manufacturing business … definitely where my passions reside.”
Patrick was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal and the Navy Achievement Medal. He has also co-authored several United States patents involving both machinery design and framing systems. “I love the inventive spirit at Knudson. The opportunity to create new and interesting solutions is a big part of what drives me.”
A Colorado native, Patrick enjoys craft coffee, cycling, and skiing the Colorado mountains with his wife and kids.
